Oat Flour High-Protein Pancakes

I absolutely love protein pancakes. They are a super healthy and well-balanced breakfast idea for a healthy lifestyle. I’m not sure if there is anything better than freshly made pancakes to kick-start your morning. Try out this simple high-protein pancake recipe and enjoy all the goodness.

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of oat flour
  • Half a cup of almond milk
  • Three egg whites
  • Three teaspoons of xylitol
  • A handful of chocolate chips
  • One teaspoon of baking powder
  • Two tablespoons of plain yogurt (fat-free or full cream)

 Method:

  • Run everything through a blender on medium or low speed until very well mixed (alternatively use a mixing bowl and whisk all ingredients together)
  • Grease your frying pan with Weighless Spray and Cook
  • Spoon the batter onto the frying pan (size to your preference)
  • When the edges start to look dry (two-three minutes), flip and cook another minute or two on the other side

**Note – you can also make your own flour for your high-protein pancakes:
Place two to three cups of raw oats into a blender and blitz until fine and powdery.
